Community Presentations

Presentations are given by members of the afikra community on a topic of their choosing that is related to the histories & cultures of the Arab world. The presenters have chosen the topics based on their curiosity and interest to learn more - not based on their expertise in the topic.

 

CONVERSATIONS

Long-form interview with folks with noteworthy expertise from academia, media, and/or the arts whose work is shaping, or is focused on, the histories and cultures of the Arab world. These interviews are recorded during our live events on zoom.

 

STORYTIME

Storytime is an Instagram series designed by members of the afikra community. Each edition explores a new topic, about which the Storytimer has been curious and wants to explore together.
