In this conversation, we discussed the work of Kamal Dib as a scholar and professor of Political and Economic Studies. We also tackled his books and works and related some previous events to the economic crisis in Lebanon.

About Kamal Dib

Kamal Dib is a Canadian-Lebanese scholar and a professor of political and economic studies. Dib has worked as a director of economic and social research in the Canadian government for fifteen years. He has published his first book "Labor Supply in the UN ESCWA Region" in 1995, followed by many other books, such as Warlords and Merchants: The Lebanese Political and Business Establishment, a trilogy on Bank Intra and the political economy of Lebanon, as well as a series of books about economic and social conditions in several Arab countries, including Iraq and Syria. He has published more than 20 books on economic and social issues, in addition to numerous studies and research papers on financial crises and cultural activities, which appeared in several newspapers and periodicals.
