Description
Between 1910-1947 The Italians had control over Libya. During the Era of the Italian colonization the people of the land wanted to distinguish between their women and the Italian women. The green marker on their chin would distinguish them as Muslim Arab women of Libyan descent. Some men would have it too on their hand as well to point out their ethnicity.
