Ramzi Ghosn talks about the profession of wine and arak-making and its significance in the Levant, notably in Lebanon. From Massaya, he discusses how Phoenicians valued viticulture and developed the finest wines that continues to be exported to the world.
Ramzi Ghosn is a winemaker, arak maker and co-owner of Massaya. In 1992, alongside his brother, Ramzi revived his family’s country-side property, transforming it into a thriving winery and arak distillery that draws on and preserves traditional arak-making techniques and tools.
