DESCRIPTION
Located 600 km south of Algiers, in the heart of the Sahara Desert, and created in the 10th century by the Ibadites; Mzab Valley is known for it’s architecture which was designed for community living, while respecting the structure of the family. While it’s architecture is known, people do not seem to know much about those who built it. This afikra feature dives right into it.
