Ever since I can remember, sfeeha has always been a staple of after-school lunches, eid dinners, and snacks throughout my childhood. It is one of my favorite foods, and I have forever wondered where it originated from, and what’s the story behind the different shapes and sizes of the different types in the region. In the presentation, I looked into the different types of sfeeha that you find in Lebanon and the Middle East. Starting with the history of the dish and highlighting the differences in the ingredients, bread, and taste of each.
